couldn't find the thread this was talked about in earlier but i think that the final thought was that DLC for GH3 was not going to happen.
i just came across this on WiiNintendo.net

A GoNintendo reader received this from RedOctane:

Hello,

Thank you for writing us.

Downloadable content for the Wii is something we are working very hard on getting in place for the new year. There is no definite timetable in place but we are hoping it will be soon.

Regards,

RedOctane Customer Support

Via Nintencast

any way, i know there are some GH rockers on here so you might get some DLC in all its mono glory =)

I never knew that. I am not a heavy GH player. I dont have the game and I am not so interested in buying it. I have played GH 2 with my friend, but I am not buying it anytime soon.

P.S. Also my friend is trying to convince me to play WoW. I dont know if I want to get it or not but I seem to be discoraged because of the pricy mothly fee for a membership.

More GH3 goodness, just came across this

“We recently became aware that some consumers have not been able to enjoy the full audio output in the Nintendo Wii version of Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. We are currently working with Nintendo and are planning to issue an improved audio experience in future versions of the game. We expect to have re-mastered discs available by early 2008 and we will be offering consumers replacement discs at no cost once they become available. We thank all of our customers for their support and patience.”

- Activision spokeswoman Rhy-Ming Poon
