my cousin got the japanese version of brawl. last month I played it. doesn't use wii remote that much. I decided to just use gamecube controller. My cousin unlocked all characters bunch of new characters. best game ever the hype is right get it it is amazing

hey no big deal, ill get yours but like you, i wont be able to play the game until the 23 of march (end of easter) because i foolishly gave up wii for lent, so i will get the game but i have to torture my self not being able to open it when i buy it. Ill go with ike and metaknight (big roy and kirby user).

*laughs* well I got that overwith. I was thinking about doing that, but I changed to something else at the last second for lent.

lol i totally forgot brawl was in the middle of lent or i would have found something else to give up, like maybe computer games, but its too late, so i have to enjoy my wii only once a week for the next 30 days (approximate from today).

Hey we (everyone in WLTP) should have a tournament or something.

Yes that would be awesome, although the winner of the tourney would get a giant nothing, other than bragging rights, it would be cool to be able to challenge users on the site and to schedule Grudge Matches. If content was available to create on the site, i would post user matches against myself and we a spectator to record the tourney, each match seperately. i can see everything in my head, we could post rounds and matches on the site for *users only* to watch and we could have a new tourney every once in a while to keep the smash ball rolling, plus we would have item lists and rules listed in the video info section. IT WOULD BE AMAZING. Of course, we have to wait another 20 days to even begin to start planning this and we would need to be able to post videos on the site, but not in forum topics.

We should have a tornament page that Arvin creates that we (WLTP members) should have access to, but first whoever gets SSBB should share thier code and we could share our code. We will have to figure out a way to get each others friend codes in a orginised fashion.

I DONT, I PRETEND THAT THIS FEW WEEKS IN BETWEEN BRAWL AND NOW IS TRAINING TIME (even though my friend took back melee cuz it was his in the first place) its time to shape up and get ready for a firestorm, and mark march 9 on your calender, or preorder your copy sometime between then and now.

yes we will, the tournament would be sick, but we should also have a seperate brawl page so we can challenge ppl and post the match on here. The only thing the topic would really be useful for is scheduling matches and watching them, and the tourney would be great too.

IMO im buying it on release date, which i think is a saturday, so i will have it, considering release date is the best time to buy a game, easily shown with GH3 which i got on release date and is now sold out. So i suggest you buy on release date and if you cant reserve it.

i believe the release date is march 9 in americas, and i reserved it already, but i don't think its necessary.
Here's why:

When the disc went gold in japan, they said the release date would be feb 10.
Then they said march 9
I think nintendo realizes that this game is going to be big, so they set aside some time for them to crazy stock the game, and make like a bugillion copies.
They want any one that wants the game to be able to buy the game. I bet there will be plenty of the game at whatever store you go to.

They did that in japan and it still sold out.
