This isnt a full review of either of these, just my initial reactions through about 30 minutes of game play.

I picked up the Nyko Perfect Shot the day i got brawl because they actually had one at Game Stop and well i knew i would want one, and i half thought i could reconfigure controls and make it work with RE4....i was wrong. Anyway today i picked up House of the dead 2&3, i was a fan of these game since the arcades when i was younger and at 29.99 i thought it a great buy...and i was right. IT plays just like the arcade and having the handgun style nyko peripheral over the zapper just brings me right back to those good old coin-op days. im gonna have to pick up another perfect shot gun when i find one...finally playing as both characters and not shoving piles of quarters in the machine!!! cant wait for that =). The gun handles well although personally i think the handle could be weighted down a bit more, its very top heavy. if you havnt bought the zapper and your thinking of a light gun this one is great IMO, and if you get that and house of the dead thats still cheaper then a full price wii game (14.99 for the Nyko perfect shot, 29.99 for HoD) yea yea, 19.99 for the zapper and a game, but i guarantee this game will be played more then links crossbow training, and the peripheral, from what ive heard about the zapper, is much better.
