hello everyone
i'm wondering how to unlock some of the songs in guitar hero 3. i just beat it in medium yesterday and thought that might do the trick, but it only unlocked another guitar.
i've noticed when playing online there's some other songs i don't have, like one by The Strokes. how do i unlock these for myself? thanks!

the songs you talking about are co-
op
Those are co-op songs, only unlockable if you play through the game in co-op mode. Since there are some songs that would not be good in co-op (i.e. Not enough rhythm guitar or bass) they had special songs added with an even amount of both bass and guitar (i.e. City on Flames with Rock And Roll by Blue Oyster Cult). If those are the songs you are wondering about, then the only way for you to get them is to go on through the game in co-op mode. I got mine using an all songs cheat, but I don't have the songs for my band, just in Quickplay, as I will never play through on co-op unless I get another wii guitar and play through with a friend.

Yes, as long as you use the same band to play through Co-op and only on the difficulty you played it through on. Well at least I think that's how it works 80% sure.

you need to beat it on the next level and recieve almost like a double encore type of thing. hope that did it. or if not, then play all the unlcoked songs online.
