Actually if you went to any pretty much any shopping site (ebay, amazon, gamestop) you would know that they have dropped 100$ in price too.

Your saying u would rather have a scrathed 60GB no warranty USED PS3 and not a beautiful 120GB lighter consumes less power WARRANTY PS3!

A used old ps3 will not be the same price as a new fancy smancy slim ps3. you can probably get the 60gb one for 50-100 less than the slim, so it is a great decision. And having backward compatability on the ps3 is much better than having a ps1, 2 and 3. its more convenient to have it all in one. i think he is very smart in his plan. btw whoa 10 bucks a week, lucky!!

YEh but who cares if you can play PS2 games why would you if u have a PS3 ans Samus already has a PS2 so WTF.

i have a friend who has a ps3, but he still plays a ton of ps2 games. they have some good ps2 games, and they are cheeper, so there's two reasons. also, why would you want a ps3 and a ps2 when you can get just one?

but is backwards worth $100 bucks? i'll just use my ps2, i only play kingdom hearts on it anyway
