From the images they provided, it looks like a strategy type game. I don't know anything about it except what I've seen today.
EDIT: ok, yes it is a strategy game, and from the E3 demo video, it looks to be a good one. Nice graphics too.
I've heard of it. I think it's set before halo 1, 2, and 3.

i heard about it when 3 guys had a conversation and i eavesdropped casue i got nothign better to do, they hated the idea of strategy buy said will rent since it has master cheif
The game was speculated quite a while ago. If you've played the Halo series or read any of the books, this game is set (in terms of time) before the Covenant destroyed the Spartan Supersoldiers, meaning there are Spartans, Elites and Humans in the game, not just MC. And for the record, I knew about this game about 6 - 10 months ago. My friend told me about it since he is a huge XBox fan. IT's also for the PC though.
I personally would rather have Starcraft II.
wow. I know basically nothing about Halo storylines, but it looks pretty cool. I might just get it for pc. The only strategy game I've bought is Age of Empires 2
Its not going to be a FPS it will be a RTS (Real Time Strategy).

there is no master chief because he is locked up in a cryo tube for 20 years while all the other spartans fight the war.
