WII IS BETTER CONSOLE THAN XBOX 360 AND PS3. the 360 is a good console get past the HW problems and there are really good games on plus the most exclusive content for multi plat games. THE PS3 IS NOT BETTER THAN THE WII. the ps3 is also a good system and wtf about sony not making good games come on have you played any ratchet and clank games or jak and daxter LBP resistance those were the best games on the ps3 come on guys every company makes good quality games (or at least any company that makes a console). I've had my 360 since last feburary and I haven't had a single problem with my 360 IT WAS JUST WITH THE ORIGINAL BATCH. the first batch didn't have fans so it overheated way to much and microsoft lost lots of money on that and then people still baught it for the really really good games (15 mil people have a 360) and the wii will probably not get a boost in sales because 50 million people already have a wii and i don't think new games are going to make people buy it but it COULD help with sales but remember pretty much everyon who likes video games (even a little) has a wii for those classic mario games.

AAHHHHH WTF IS WRONG WITH ALL OF YOU the ps3 and the wii are both awesome systems and are both pretty dang equal in my book. Well...... if I had too pick one... I'd would have too say the wii because all the inovation of the games. And nintendo releases so many awesome games that both the casual and the hardcore can enjoy like mario and zelda. And many other things.

The Jasper chipset in the new Xbox 360's have made the RROD pretty much nonexistent. 360 failures have gone down drastically since the new chipset was released and they have even added a feature where you can actually download your game to the HDD, and the game can be played using very little power consumption. The failure rate for the new consoles is only 3%.

I'm most definately not a fanboy, I never said I didn't like the PS3. THe PS3 is a great system with a lot of awesome games that are out and are going to be coming out this fall, but when you get "technical", the 360 is a better system. Here is my proof:

1. The 360 has superior CPU performance.

2. The 360 has better GPU processing power, contributing to rendering/graphics performance.

3. The 360 has over 5 times the amount of bandwidth memory, which means it performs over 5 times as fast online.

4. The 360 has more shading operations per second, which contribute to graphics performance.

5. The 360 has more programmable GFLOPS, which contribute to rendering/graphics performance, shading, and detail.

I just watched all of the videos and it's good to see that he wasn't just another fanboy without any facts. I do agree with him about the AA batteries and the DVD/ Bluray comparison.

I don't have a problem with my headset at all, it doesn't use very much battery life, but I'm sure that they are better for the PS3. As long as I can hear everyone and they can hear me, I'm okay with the one I have. I'm not really sure why very many people would want Linux or another OS on a game console though, but it would be useful for some people, just unnecessary IMO.

The internet browser is a good feature to have, but I can just use my Wii for that. I don't have a problem with the lack of wireless either, because I use a wired connection. Wired is faster anyway so... it is better. But I can see where that would be a problem for people that can't use a wired connection, and it's less of a hassle. I'm not sure if this video was before the price drop or not, but the HDD's for the 360 have gone down to $100 for a 120GB, and the games are compressed a lot more too, so less memory is used.

I loled at him saying Fable 2 was only ten hours, you would be lucky to beat it in under 40. Having better games is strictly an opinion, and you can't say it's not, because that's usually why people choose one system over another. I'm not saying the PS3 doesn't have amazing games, because it does. Games like Infamous, Uncharted 2, Haze, God of War III, Ratchet and Clank, The Last Gaurdian, etc. are all incredible games, and have seen very good reviews/previews. I think the 360 has a great library too, and the majority of them have great online play. For games, I'm neutral between the 360 and PS3, they both have incredible libraries, and they both have a wide variety of genres.

I love how he thinks MS is milking the Halo franchise, when they're only on the 6th game. If anything's being milked, it's GH, Rock Band, and Metal Gear Solid. Master Chief isn't even in Reach or ODST, so I'm not sure what he meant by that. He left out quite a few games too, like Kodu, Crackdown 2, 1 vs 100, and Fable III, but they were probably announced after the videos were posted.

Just like I said before, the 360 does have more technical power, so I don't see how he got his info for the 4th video, but Folding@Home may be overclocking the PS3 power, not sure though. I like the news/weather feature, but again, I can use my Wii for that. That would be a benefit for people that don't have a Wii though. Folding@Home is a pretty cool feature, but it's not necessary for a gaming device IMO, only for researchers, but it is great that people are helping with this research.

It will be interesting to see what he has to say about Natal vs. the Eyetoy. I loled at his video saying that Microsofts E3 sucked, I think everybody had a great show this year. It will also be interesting to see his Xbox Live vs. PSN video.

He made some great points in his videos, and I did agree with some of them, around half I guess, even though some of his facts were wrong (Which probably isn't his fault because of when the video was posted.) It's good to see that he wasn't just a fanboy, and that he actually presented facts in all of his videos. I still think the 360 is a better system, and I probably always will, but these videos did change my perception of the PS3 quite a bit. I am interested in getting a PS3 eventually though. If you think about it that's just plain awesome that have an OS on the ps3. Cause then if you wanted you could just use that as a comp and use all of the ps3s power and use it for whatever you want. Inculding pc games. Which is the thing I like most about it, playing pc games.

Problem with the wii browser is that it only has flash player 7. And the ps3s browser has flash 9 so you can lots of other cool stuff besides watch youtube. Yes wired is quite a hassle for alot of people inculding me. And trust me... wired isn't better. Or it's just better by like 5%. Trust me microsoft is lieing to you when they say it's so much better. Their just comeing up with excuses for them lacking.

I agree except for 2 things.
1. You can play most of the 360 games on pc, so you don't even practically need a 360 to play it's games lol! But there are some that aren't on pc..... but not many. And im just drop dead sick of fanboys coming up with dumb excuses for them still being exlusive like. Their consloe exlusive! or. Microsoft exlusive!....... idoits.
2. The 360 only usees dvds for it's games so most of the games that are on it are tiny games that rely on mutiplayer for replay value. This is a huge problem for rpgs. Like did see the tales of vesperia (or whatever it's called) they had to leave sooooo much stuff out of it because the amount of space they had to work with was so small. And they got sick of that so they ported it on to the ps3 and were able to put like 15+ extra features like voice acting, more cut scenes, outfits, and much more.
Actually there is a 3rd thing. I almost literally burst out laughing when you said "halo is only on its 6th game" how can say halo isn't being milked and MGS is!?!? MGS is on it's 4th game! And GH is on its 5th game, and RB on it's 2nd! (no expansion packs don't count)........ you FAIL. And you can't say that 360 has more exlusives... because if you do.... you fail even more.

Yes microsofts e3 did suck. 1. the fisrt two games that showed were MUTIPLATFORM GAMES..... WTF!?!? And it sucked for more reasons than that.
And think about it..... how would natal ever work... it would for a couple of dumb little things like navigating the menues, maybe driving, and a couple of other things but seriously think about it..... how would ever work for fps's? And how would work anything besides mini games since there's no way pause? And many other things if you think about it.....

Yeah, I've had quite a few problems with the Wii's internet browser, and it looked like the PS3's worked fast and efficient. It probably gets updates with the latest Flash players too.

Yeah it gets really annoying when people say Halo, Gears of War, and Left 4 Dead are 360 exclusives, when they're not. They'e on the PC, which means you could actually play those games on the PS3 OS, lol.

Yeah they do have to take out quite a bit sometimes, I was really surprised to see that they could fit so much on the Oblivion disc. Final Fantasy XIII will hopefully only be on 3 discs for the 360, lol.

When I said MGS, I didn't mean just the main storyline, I meant all of the other games in the series, like Portable Ops, Peace Walker, and Rising. They are actually on the 9th MGS game. I guess I'm just tired of seeing GH and RB games/spinoffs, lol. They really haven't made that many, but every game is just about the same, and there is so many in development now. And no, the 360 does not have as many exclusives, and the PS3 has gotten a lot of great exclusive games lately. This year has been a great year for the PS3, I don't care what the sales figures are, Sony has done a lot.

I've been really skeptical about Natal too, but everyone that's used it said that it works flawlessly, and the creator of Fable III said that it may use Natal, so I guess we'll just have to see how well it really works.

You really shouldn't feel that way, things can get out of hand really fasy when people start talking about what system's better, I completely understand and agree.

I'm not really sure. I think all that's known so far is that it will feature a 120GB HDD, it will be around 33% smaller, use around 33% less power, be priced at $299, and it will be released on September 1st. It will be VERY interesting to see what MS does to compete with this. If this was available when I got my 360, I would have got this instead.

Anyways I didn't bother to read spiderpig24, Brawlers, and samuses huge post so I'll say this : All consoles have their goods and their bads (Pros and cons) and all people have their preferences. So you can't force someone to like that console or vice versa also please don't accuse other people of being a fanboy. It just shows you have minor intelligence.

My opinion on the ps3 slim. I actually like the idea. I guess the Xbox 360 is going to have some competition. Its much more affordable especially at these hard times I am facing but i have one question? Does it have backwards compatibility with the PS2. (sorry if this was asked before its just that I really don't have the time to catch up with all the chit chat going on)

Console Failure rates: Based on the word of some folks at EB Games and Best Buy, about one out of every three Xbox 360’s is returned due to hardware failure or about 33%. Whereas the Wii and PS3 have had little to no problems with an impressive 1% of systems messing up. The results are obviously a little sketchy since the market penetration and availability of both systems is low, but the numbers are going to give fanboys something to brag about.

The Xbox 360 has been acknowledged as the most reliable console, so everyone in Sony and Nintendo camp should take this news with a grain of salt.

Yeah I have the same question as metroid about the slim. Because if it doesn't, it sounds really cool and all, but the 60gb is still way better since it has near perfect backwards capability and a pretty good size HD. (but you can replace with a bigger one if you want so who cares)

No the Xbox 360 does not have the failure rate of 80 percent. You know why? Because If it did have 80 percent the console would be a ruin but something I agree on that Microsoft service really sucks. You would have to get the RROD, the burn it, the run it oven with a truck, then stab it with a katana so they could replace it. Heck, they might not give a @#$% about 360 at all so they will just say sorry bub and send you an extra controller.
