after almost a week of patiently waiting (believe it if you want to) my new lap top arrived. Been many a year since ive had a completly new PC (just upgraded pieces here and there)and my very first laptop. any hoo im trying to wrap my head around all of the subtle changes to vista, never thought it would be so hard to find "add remove programs" did they have to rename it AND move it farther down in the control panel. If ne one has some helful resources or tips they would care to share it would be greatly apreciated. I already disabled UAC and the notifications...that wasnt goign to fly. any useful gadgets or best to just do away with them? dont worry about dumbing things down either, im not looking for tech support =) as with many of us i know the ins and outs of a pc just not much experience with vista.

so far i really like it it has a really nice soundsystem for a laptop "dolby home digital", 2 speakers and a mini sub, im running dual monitors on it through HDMI hookups on my 42" LG HDtv, so that is very nice, im enjoying what i can do with this setup.
