Well RB was a game made by a company that used to make guitar hero. I don't see anything wrong with GH or RB on on DS and PSP. Lego gh..... don't know what to think.......

I'm just saying why so many expansion packs like RB bettales (cant spell) and all of those.

Well I think those are for people who really like those bands. Like some people really like metallika and wouldn't mind paying for an "expansion".

The point of Band Hero is to bring a larger audience to the franchise, by featuring different kinds of music.

I really don't like the idea of it but they won't pass up an easy way to make money. IMO the GH franchise has really gone downhill since World Tour, their making them as fast as they can without thinking about the quality anymore. GH5 does look really good though.

$50 for gh3. you get 60+ songs only availble on the guitar
$50 for metallica. you get 40+ songs available on drums vocals guitar and bass

its worth it.

I agree completely, they should have stopped at Metallica, but now they have GH Van Halen, GH5, Band Hero, and DJ Hero in development.

how can guitar hero kill rythm games guitar hero is what made it cool. they should not have stopped at metallica because think of it.

once you get good at the songs theres really no point in playing it so activision just keeps putting more out which is good. but i think harmonix and activision are going a little over the top on the instruments (there releasing new ones most every game) i think there are already enough guitar hero rock band peripherals they just need to stop except for when the beatles comes out the instruments are for those collector people and i think its really cool to do that but for something like guitar hero 5 they don't need a new instrument i mean all they did was make the cymbols look more realistic thats about it.

I think what they should have done was just release the new songs as downloadable content, and forget about making new games. But then they wouldn't making their money from their overpriced peripherals...$200 for the renegade edition of DJ Hero...$190 for GH5.

Actually, the news stuff on the wltp home page had a story about how guitar hero 5 will be able to play all songs from world tour and smash hits, aaaand all dlc from world tour. apparently, band hero will also be able to play all those songs.

really you would rather pay 80 bucks for the 40 songs in guitar hero metallica rather than 50
