ok its just the matter of i can only hold 4 songs on my wii and i will probably want more songs than that so the problem is that you have to keep buying SD cards. i already have one so it won't be much of a problem. but there may be another problem (but i am not sure) because i wonder if you have to throw it on your wii before it gets on the SD card or if you can store extra songs on the disk itself
In Nintendo Power they said that you only need to store 1 song on your wii and the rest can all be stored on your SD card and are worked apparently seamlessly, according to the magazine, when you select a downloaded song in the game. (in other words the data on the ii is just a song list) so... sorry it's long but that's what I've heard.
yeah i read nintendo power to but i didn't get that out of the article
p.s what's an ii
You have to have at least one song on the Wii memory that serves as a cache memory. As long as that one song is on there, it can read all of the rest of the songs from the SD card through the cache memory. You can store all of the rest of the songs on the SD card but there has to be at least one on the Wii memory.
didn't wiilikepi already say that
ii- typo of wii I think...
i see what he is saying though he is saying that it will be bad if u dont have an sd card to store the songs on so i say go buy one...
and in nintendo power (i wanna point out) it said that ghwt for wii will have a section in which (called Mii freeplay or something) where you can be your miis and do random things with the insturments and even the wiimote and nunchuk
just FYI
Jeez...is everyone suscribed to Nintendo Power? I for one am not.
well get subscribed then and supersonic they didn't say you could play as your mii
im not subscribed...

So how is the ability to play directly off of a SD card a disapointment, I find it very exciting, it means that you could actually use SD cards as a storage solution. Now we just need a firmware update on the wii to do that.
