Oh you guys had no idea when you said what you did in Episode 26.

A few days ago, one of the press kits you spoke of went on eBay for $810 US dollars.

A day after that, the press kit went for sale on the Capcom website (in "VERY limited quantities") - for approximately 5 minutes. On another video game news website I frequent, I read at about 5:30 EST that at just 6:00 EST that day, the exact press kit for Mega Man 9 would be going on sale for $49.99. The source of this info was from the Capcom community website, and the blog entry was released just a day before.
So, having downloaded the game, loving it, and beating it, I thought I'd splurge a bit and use some of my stash of money to purchase the kit at 6:00.

Then, at 6:00, knowing they would sell quick, I refreshed my Capcom store page, expecting the kit to be on the front page. Long story short, 10 minutes later I found it- and discovered it was already sold out. Since then, I learned that 200 of these had been created in total, and that the average eBay price is about $250. I laughed out loud when I watched the podcast today (good job, as usual :D) and Arvin made an unknowing prophecy about the fast-selling Mega Man 9 press kit. Do you guys have some powers you're not telling us about??
