Ok, first, search google. I searched Knuckles.gif Make sure you include .gif in it. When you see one you like, click on the picture, then click on see full sized image(or whatever it says after you click on the picture, and you want to only see the picture.), then right click and click save picture as... Save as a .gif image. Then add it like your regular image. If it doesn't work, refresh the page. If it still doesn't work, then choose a different google picture and do all the same instructions.

try waiting 30 minutes like D&F said. He taught me. The first 2 .gif things that I tried also didn't work, so I tried a third, and that one worked after I refreshed the page. P.S. Luigi, did you ever try yet?

Iv tried lots but every time it just shows the first frame.

Ok everyone, here is what i think is the lowdown.

Animated avatars do work, but they need to be beloew 200x200 pixels
this is because if they are bigger then they are resized, and only the first frame is shown, also, i can take a long time for animated avatars to work, when i first uploaded my spinning link one, that took over 2 days to work, but i dont know why.

All these things are just from my knowledge, so many of them may be inaccurate.

Arvin, please could you tell us exactly how the system works to avoid confusion.

the file size is 6.66kb and the dimensions are 20x35
it is my own creation and i would like to use it.

Failed to upload the picture image; the images/avatar directory doesn't exist.

Ive tried 2 of my own, neither worked.(they worked on various other websites) Just get a pre-made one, cause they almost all work.
