SO i have been pluggin this game for like 2 yrs now, and its only been announced for a few months. i am not sure if the HD version of the original game will be released on Wii, or if it already has for that matter. But today the newest installment of the game is being released, well the first episode that is. Tell Tale games has restarted this series after a 9 year lull gives us "The Tales of Monkey Island", the first episode titled "The launch of the Screaming Narwhal". I have already played this game/episode on the PC, and it is fantastic, if u never played the original u will still enjoy this game. With lucas arts teaming up with steam to release alot of their old point and click adventure games i am hoping to see more of this series after the first 5 episodes and it would be great to see monkey island 2 re release as well, but its up to gamers like us to show interest. all 5 episodes are running for 40 bucks on the pc, with the Original HD version of the 1990 release of SoMI going for 10, the re-release offers improved graphics as well as voice acting, the same voices from MI 3+4, as well as the new release. any way i highly suggest this game, alot of great lines do some research there is a great cult following for this and other games like it.
