Activision has announced that Guitar Hero Greatest Hits, a collaberation of songs from the previous Guitar Hero games, will be releasing in June of this year. It will be the second Guitar Hero game to incorporate the expert+ mode (The first game being Guitar Hero Metallica). Here are some of the announced tracks for the game.

Barracuda- Heart
I Love Rock N' Roll- Joan Jett and the Blackhearts
I Wanna Rock- Twisted Sister
Killer Queen- Queen
Killing in the Name- Rage Against the Machine
Nothin' but a Good Time- Poison
Them Bones- Alice in Chains
Through the Fire and Flames- Dragonforce
Free Bird- Lynyrd Skynyrd

Guitar Hero Metallica will be also be coming out for the Wii on May 29th, being the first game in the series to utilize the second drum pedal and the expert+ mode. Here is the tracklist for the game:

you beat me to it. i think they should put

1. talk dirty to me- poison
2. story of my life- social distortion
3. impulse- an endless sporidic
4. before i forget- slipknot
5. can't be saved

to me those songs are really fun to play and with the touch sensitive strip it will be a lot better

through the the fire and the flames will be so much more fun if instead of hammerons they use the touch slider (for intro and solos)

I completely agree with those songs. They were some of Guitar Heros best IMO.

@Brawler- You can change the sensitivity or your slider and it will make it more responsive.

my friend was saying that it would be the only rated m guitar hero. but i don't really care because i don't really listen to slipknot, like i didn't listen to aerosmith but i bought guitar hero aerosmith because it was a guitar hero game same thing with guitar hero metalica. and he was also saying that the expert+ mode that there are so many notes that there will be 2 kick pedals and if thats true then im going to not buy the new drum kit that you will need because the current guitar hero drums don't support 2 kick pedals

They are supposed to be coming out with a new drum peddle attachment so you don't have to buy the new set if you have World Tours drums.

and supersonic, i don't know about that. because im not sure if they knew they were going to be making guitar hero metalica when they made guitar hero world tour.

okay?... i don't really listen to slipknot so i don't know. do they cuss in like every song. because if they don't then activision will just drop the cuss words but if they do then they won't make it because guitar hero is aimed for everyone not just adults
